One and a Half Years Old!

Jalen had his 18 month well baby check up and he's still doing great! He is almost 3 feet tall which I am so happy about because they say by 2 you have reached half your adult height. Well if you take 3 and double it... it's over 5ft. 3in. It would be totally awesome to be 6 foot but I'm not going to get my hopes up too much. We just need to make sure he takes care of his body and we put the right foods in his mouth. So far so good in that category! He was in the 97% for his head circumfrance, 75% for his weight at 28.08, and 75% for his height at 34in. He took two shots like a champ. He didn't cry at all!

We have been working on his NO's lately. Every single question you ask him he says, "no". So the bad part is having to not give him what he wishes because when you ask if he wants it he says, "no" instead of "yes" or "please." In the two days we've been working on it he has made some progression. So hopefully he won't be stubborn about it. He's been doing really well on the potty too. We aren't really pushing it at this point. We just have him sit on the potty before he takes a bath or if one of us has to go (and there is not poop in his diaper). He's gone number 1 in the potty over 20 times now and he told me today he had pooped (he said "poo"). We are getting there! My boy is growing up so fast!
