1 Year Old!

I can't believe it... he is one year old already! He had a wonderful Birthday Weekend with over 30 people celebrated the day of his birth with us. It's so great to know that he is so loved and popular:)! He got to put a whole cake in his face, open gifts, and just soak up all the attention. He recieved so many books and toys which he loves playing with already. I will update with video and pictures soon! As far as his one year well appointment, he is still right on track. He was given three shots, a TB test, and a finger prick. He did great for all but the finger prick because she did it right in the middle of his finger. Last time they did it on the side and he never flinched. Poor baby! I gave him a lollipop and he cooperated long enough for us to put a band-aid on and stop the bleeding. All of that was for us to see if he was iron deficient... and the results are.... he is no longer anemic! Yeah! He is currently in the 75th % for his weight, 50th % for his height, and a whopping 90th % for his head circumfrance. I've noticed lately more than ever that Jalen has been walking with his feet facing in. I mentioned this to the Dr. and he suggested I see a Pediatric Orthopedic. I wasn't sure if it was anything to be concerned about because he is my first and thought that is how it's suppose to be. As of now he will be seen the 5th of January to see if he will need any intervention with his bow legs and pigeon feet. We will keep you posted!
