Spring Break

Jalen is finally starting to feel better. His cough is almost non-existant. His nose is a different story though. Saline is mommy and daddy's best friend (not Jalen's). Since he's been sick, he hardly ever poops. He went from going at least 4 times a day to one big blow out every other day if he's lucky. We are using that Shout like it's a religion:) I forgot to mention that while he was in the hospital he was diagnosed with RSV. I guess we took him to the Dr. a little too early and nothing showed up on his initial tests for RSV, but I'm glad we decided to take him back. God only knows what would have happened if we waited.

Over our break Jalen recieved TONS of Easter gifts from his grandparents varying from clothes, swim suits, candy (more for the grown ups) and new toys. We loved it all! We are sad to see our break go. I know I've enjoyed being with him all day the last week. That is if he takes his naps. He's not very pleasant to be around if he's lacking sleep. So, until next time...it's the same old story... Jalen is still cute, and huge. We also went to State Farm to visit with Grandma V's co-workers. Jalen just talked and talked to Brenda with his hands in his mouth. It was so cute to watch him use all his facial expressions while he was talking to her. We then headed over to the Coliseum where he wasn't as entertaining but still a hoot.

I've been told several times over break that Jalen may be teething for he has been drooling a lot and chomping on his hands. We will see here soon if that is the case. We have another well baby appointment coming up and we will have lots of questions for our Dr. Besides him trying to eat himself he's been VERY interested in watching us grown ups eat. Another sign that he may be ready for some rice cereal in his milk and then on to solids.
