Tubes OK

Jalen's follow up appointment went well!  The thick mucous in his ears the doctor noticed during surgery has dried and drained.  Because that went so well we went straight to his audiology screening and he passed that as well.  We shouldn't have to see the doctor for another 9 months unless his tubes fall out of clog up.

Jalen is healing from a nasty cough.  This little one year old is doing so well trying to remember to cover his mouth!  I have to get the one year old out as much as possible in the next week because he will be 2 this weekend!!!!  Wow!  Two years old!!!  We are having an Elmo themed birthday party for him (I'm very glad it's after finals).  I wonder if he will be excited to open gifts or if he's saving it for next year?  Either way...my promise to him is to NEVER wrap his Birthday gifts in X-mas paper!

Jalen went to his first wrestling meet for the year last night!  He loved it and was such a crowd pleaser.  He loved  yelling for the wrestlers to, "GO ! GO! GO!"  and "Wrestle" after the JV match was over we sat on the mats with the JV wrestlers and finished watching the varsity match.  He really enjoyed himself flopping around with the wrestlers.  I'm glad he likes to be around wrestling because he really doesn't have much of a choice.  Many of his years will be around wrestling because of his daddy coaching.  We hope he chooses to continue to be around it because he wants to wrestle.
